Restaurant Week Starts August 11th at YOUR Riverwalk Restaurant
Culinaria’s Restaurant Week has become a San Antonio Tradition where restaurants are asked to participate by creating a 3-course menu at $35. (some restaurants with smaller price point expectations or that serve lunch will be offering their 3 courses for $15)
Culinaria is an organization whose goal is to promote San Antonio as a culinary destination by promoting restaurants, putting on great food events and also helping culinary students with scholarships.
Restaurant Week runs August 11th-25th. Biga is happily participating and here’s the menu…

The menu at Biga is updated daily. This menu may be a little different on the night you dine.

Summer squash and Texas tomato soup with basil, noodles and Parmesan
Arugula and Spanish chorizo salad, chickpeas, peppers, onion, shallot sherry vinaigrette
Texas Gulf Coast fish green ceviche, tomatillos, cucumber, aqua de chile
Moroccan spiced lamb balls, apricots, yogurt, almonds
Tempura shrimp, chilled chili lime rice noodles, peanuts, watermelon, mint
Pan seared natural scallops, soft polenta, fancy mushrooms, saffron corn cream
Grilled Berkshire pork chop, sweet and sour peppers, marjoram potato salad

Now that summer is upon us, you may be asking yourself “what Riverwalk restaurant has a daily happy hour?”
50% off select appetizers and wine by the glass daily until 6:30
Well, if you’re a “Super Privileged Foodie” than you already know that 50% pricing is a perfect way to end a work day or kick off a night out on the town!
Every day from 5pm-6:30 the Biga Bar is offering most appetizers and wine by the glass at half-price!
Even better, we’ll have some featured cocktails for $6!
SPF 50 Happy Hour will be all summer long at the Biga Bar 5pm-6:30. Prefer seating in the dining room? Well,
no problem! The same SPF 50 promotion can be enjoyed 5:30-6:30 at a table in the dining room or seated on the patio.
Bar opens at 5pm and seating is on a first come first serve basis. Dining room opens at 5:30 and reservations are encouraged (walk-ins usually easily accommodated, the earlier, the better!). Promotions ends at 6:30, discount only applies to select items ordered no later than 6:30.
If you find yourself comfortable at the bar and decide to have a full-on dinner look to our 3 Course Summer Prix Fix Menu. Available all night at the bar, this menu offers a choice of soup or salad for the first course followed with 2 entrees and desserts from which to select.
..Think that 3 course seems like a lot of food, especially after snacking during happy hour? Most of our entrees are available in half portions when seated at the bar.

“If there was a way for me to give 6 or 7 stars, I would! First, the restaurant’s ambience is nice… elegant but not stuffy. But the food was out of this world! Every item we ordered looked like it was out of a magazine and the special ingredients made the flavors of the dishes so memorable and delicious. Each course was a new, exciting and wonderful experience. I’ve never eaten a meal I have enjoyed more. Last, what made the experience was the service from our waiter, Rob. He was knowledgeable and was very helpful with suggestions. He seemed to be right there before we even knew we needed him. It’s not often you get that level of service. His goal was to ensure we had the best dining experience possible. None of the attitude you can sometimes get with high-end restaurants. Now, with all that being said, if you enjoy the full experience with a cocktail, salad/appetizer, wine, entree, dessert, and coffee, you can expect to pay a pretty penny. But – for me – it was totally worth it. There is no way I’ll return to San Antonio without coming back to Biga.”

YOUR RiverWalk Restaurant Knows How to Fiesta!

Join us for the Texas Cavaliers River Parade
Monday, April 23
Dinner at Biga will seat between 5pm-5:30,
Parade seating along the parade route no later than 7pm
$135 adults • $75 kids (12 and under)
What’s included? Just about everything! We’ve put together a prix fixe 3 course dinner. The first two courses you will enjoy in our main dining room before the parade. Close to the start of parade you will take a box of desserts to enjoy at your reserved riverside parade seat. Gratuity and tax are also included in the $135 price tag. Coffee and tea is included, all other drinks or additional items will be billed, based on consumption, before the parade starts.
For kids 12 and under will choose from the Biga kids menu as well as a box of treats to enjoy riverside
Timing is important for this package. The parade starts at 7pm so seating for the pre-parade dinner will be limited to 5pm, 5:15PM and 5:30pm. All reservations with parade packages purchased will be expected to vacate the dining room and occupy their parade seats no later than 7pm.
If you are the kind of person that gets thirsty during parades you may want to bring some cash. We will have a cash bar available for Biga guests from 6:45-8:45pm.
