Biga New Year’s Eve
It seems at the blink of an eye 2018 will be only a memory. Isn’t it time you decided where you will be when the clock strikes 2019?
At Biga, we understand that there are two distinct ways to ring in the New Year. Some like to have an intimate dinner and join their friends later in the evening for the stroke of midnight. Others prefer an evening where dinner is the main event and take a little more time savoring their last bites of the year.
That’s why we’re offering two ways to say goodbye to 2018.
For those with somewhere to be we offer an earlier seating from 5:30 to 7:30pm that will include 4 courses for $65.
Those who are seated after 8:00pm will enjoy a 5 course dinner with live music, party hats & horns and a champagne toast for $100.
Both the early and late seating will have choices for every course and here are some of the items we’ve come up with so far…

Your RiverWalk Restaurant serves up an unforgettable Thanksgiving Brunch
This year, Thanksgiving at YOUR RiverWalk Restaurant will be even better. The Biga chefs are working tirelessly to impress every member of your family.
Start your Thanksgiving feast with appetizers like hummus with lavosh, spring rolls, deviled eggs topped with caviar, artisan cheeses, smoked salmon nachos, jumbo Gulf shrimp with cocktail sauce, freshly shucked oysters mignonette, ceviche, wild game packets, tuna on won tons with wasabi aioli and pates with Cumberland sauce (just to name a few). Next on your agenda might be salads made with locally grown greens like romaine hearts with red pepper Caesar dressing, vine ripe tomatoes with house pulled mozzarella & hydroponic basil, tangy noodles, and roasted beets (and so much more!).
Now that the little stuff is out of the way you’ll want to get a little more serious. Visit the carving stations set with organic turkey two ways. One on the traditional side: herb roasted turkey and another more contemporary version: cider glazed turkeyboth served with a bevy of your favorite holiday sides like apple-smoked bacon sourdough stuffing, buttermilk bliss mashers, green beans, crunchy onions, cranberry apricot chutney and, of course, turkey gravy. If you have more than turkey on your mind, you’re not alone. Look for black garlic roasted prime rib, Auden’s Kitchen fried chicken, baked ham and Gulf fish a la plancha with charred orange and basil.
Pastry Chefs Amy Delbridge is planning desserts that are especially tempting this year. With sweets like apple galette with rosemary lemon sugar, spiced crème brulee, vanilla almond pear crumble, chocolate strawberries, gingerbread sweet potato trifle with marshmallow cream, chocolate pecan pie, triple chocolate mousse, egg nog eclairs, toffee scones, apple spice bunt cake, sassafras pana cotta, plus an array seasonal pies, boozy brownies and cookies. You may find yourself visiting the desserts at the beginning of your brunch!
…And we haven’t forgotten the kids. Options for younger tastes will be available including their very own dessert table appropriately sized so kids won’t have to depend on taller patrons to help them choose from their own selection cookies, treats and sweets.
Shane and Kim will be stocking the bar with several wines by the bottle and by the glass along with your favorite mixed drinks including the Thanksgiving feature “The Kentucky Apple” (Maker’s Mark, Apple Cider, Apple Bitters served on the rocks).
Thanksgiving Brunch will be November 22 served 11am-7pm.
