Every once in a while, your flight gets delayed, but it’s all part of the big adventure! While we are getting a late start to our July Traveling Taste Buds Series, the Biga team is excited to announce our departure to Spain. July is traditionally the month when the San Fermin Running of the Bulls Festival takes place. Just because it’s canceled for 2021 doesn’t mean we can’t dive into the region’s culinary recipes and savory dishes.

Join us as we partake in culinary traditions, sample Spanish cuisine, and celebrate the Running of the Bulls. This culinary journey requires no passports, luggage, or plane tickets. Instead, grab a ride on a Go Rio cruise boat and meet us at Biga on the Banks for a travel-free culinary adventure on the San Antonio River Walk! 

Our Spanish menu will be available all month long!

This month’s Traveling Taste Buds menu features 1 starter, 1 soup, 1 entree, 2 sweet desserts, and 1 classic cocktail. Try them all for a complete experience or pair with other a la carte menu items to choose your own adventure. Our Spanish menu is available for dine-in, curbside, and delivery for the entire month of July.

It’s time to get ready for the first trip of 2021! This journey requires no passports, luggage, or early airport arrivals. Meet us on the San Antonio River Walk, and make sure your taste buds are ready because we’re taking a culinary journey through the flavors of Italy. 

Our latest Traveling Taste Buds menu features rich Italian flavors as we celebrate the tradition of Befana. Put down the guidebooks and pick up the menus because it is time to book your tables and start the tour. 

Savor Italian-inspired Drinks, Appetizers, and Desserts 

In Italian folklore, Befana is an old woman who delivers gifts to children on Epiphany Eve. She sounds a lot like Santa Clause. However, these gifts are tastier than sugar cookies and candy canes. Make sure you’ve been good this year because you won’t want to miss these delicious starters, sweet dessert, and classic cocktail.

August is coming and so is our fine dining menu for RESTAURANT WEEK!

Restaurant Week is a great way to experience fine dining at your favorite riverwalk restaurants and others in the San Antonio area!

The chef’s are still making some last minute adjustments on the menu but here is how it is shaping up so far…

Restaurant Week January 16th-21st, 2017

3 Course Menu $35 benefiting Culinaria.

Course One

Berkwood Farms Berkshire Pig Head Soup with cabbage, paprika, and bacon fat croutons

Red Snapper and Lump Crab Ceviche with aqua de chile, avocado and Peruvian corn

Lamb “Corn Dogs”, pickled beets and spiced tomato  (additional dog  $2)

Mushroom and Gruyere Pierogi with brown butter and greens

Chicken Fried Oysters with squid ink pasta, pancetta, Swiss chard, mustard hollandaise (additional oyster $3)

Artisan Cheeses with Marcona almonds, walnut date cake and quince paste  ($5 supplement)

Baby Romaine Lettuce with buttermilk fried ½ quail, tomato, jalapeno ranch dressing

Grapefruit Salad of hydro greens, lardons, avocado, blue cheese and walnut vinaigrette
