Restaurant Week Starts January 15th at YOUR Riverwalk Restaurant
Culinaria’s Restaurant Week has become a San Antonio Tradition where restaurants are asked to participate by creating a 3-course menu at $45.
Culinaria is an organization whose goal is to promote San Antonio as a culinary destination by promoting restaurants, putting on great food events and also helping culinary students with scholarships.
Restaurant Week runs January 15-29. Biga is happily participating and here’s the menu…

Turkey tortilla soup with queso Blanco & pico
Romaine Hearts,Chipotle Caesar dressing, avocado, croutons & parmesan tuile
Pork Pot Stickers (3), red currant Chile sauce, 5-flavor oil
Massaged kale & shaved fennel salad, Texas citrus, almonds, roasted sweet potatoes, shallot vinaigrette
Pan Seared Salmon, creamy clam and potato “chowder” sauce with bacon, sauteed Swiss chard, capers & dill
Spiced Pork Schnitzel, warm potato salad, pear & fennel slaw, remoulade
Green Chile Wagyu Burger, brioche bun, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, aioli, pommes frites
Mustard Crusted Australian Lamb Rack, ($10 supplement charge) cheesy Texas grits, Rebecca Creek goat feta, baby carrots, mushroom veal reduction
Quinoa & Lentil Stuffed Vegan Cabbage Roll, oven-roasted carrots & squash, red wine tomato puree
Apple Bread Pudding, brandy-Rosemary ice cream, blackberry compote

Summer squash and Texas tomato soup with basil, noodles and Parmesan
Arugula and Spanish chorizo salad, chickpeas, peppers, onion, shallot sherry vinaigrette
Texas Gulf Coast fish green ceviche, tomatillos, cucumber, aqua de chile
Moroccan spiced lamb balls, apricots, yogurt, almonds
Tempura shrimp, chilled chili lime rice noodles, peanuts, watermelon, mint
Pan seared natural scallops, soft polenta, fancy mushrooms, saffron corn cream
Grilled Berkshire pork chop, sweet and sour peppers, marjoram potato salad

Culinaria actually does a couple of Restaurant Weeks during the year. One in January and one in September. This coming January, Boerne and New Braunfels will also be participating.
