We’re already pretty booked up for Thanksgiving but people keep wondering what a fine dining menu might look like for our Thanksgiving Brunch. Read on to get a good idea of what to expect if you were lucky enough to book in…
Thanksgiving Brunch at Biga has been a San Antonio favorite for almost two decades. This year will be even better. The Biga chefs are working tirelessly to impress every member of your family.
Start your Thanksgiving feast with appetizers like hummus with lavosh, spring rolls, deviled eggs topped with caviar, artisan cheeses, smoked salmon nachos, jumbo Gulf shrimp with mango habanero cocktail sauce and freshly shucked oysters mignonette (just to name a few). Next on your agenda might be salads made with locally grown greens like romaine hearts with red pepper Caesar dressing and vine ripe tomatoes with house pulled mozzarella & hydroponic basil (and so much more!).
Now that the little stuff is out of the way you’ll want to get a little more serious. Visit the carving stations set with organic turkey two ways. One on the traditional side: Herb roasted turkey and another more contemporary version: Tangerine brandy glazed turkey both served with a bevy of your favorite holiday sides like apple-smoked bacon sourdough stuffing, garlic mashers, green beans, crunchy onions, cranberry ginger sauce, maple glazed winter vegetables and, of course, turkey gravy. If you have more than turkey on your mind, you’re not alone. Look for Roasted Prime Rib, Auden’s Kitchen fried chicken, baked ham and Gulf fish a La Plancha.
Pastry Chefs Amy Delbridge and Martin Avila are planning desserts that are especially tempting this year. With sweets like chocolate mocha mousse, butternut squash cheesecake, chocolate orange eclairs and almond pear panna cotta plus an array seasonal pies, boozy brownies and cookies you may find yourself visiting the desserts at the beginning of your brunch!
…And we haven’t forgotten the kids. Options for younger tastes will be available including their very own dessert table appropriately sized so kids won’t have to depend on taller patrons to help them choose from their own selection including chocolate mud cupcakes, snicker doodles and candy corn marshmallow Krispy treats.
Shane and Kim will be stocking the bar with several wines by the bottle and by the glass along with your favorite mixed drinks including the Thanksgiving feature “The Kentucky Apple” (Maker’s Mark, Apple Cider, Apple Bitters served on the rocks).
We book up pretty fast so call (210)225-0722 to book your reservation.
Thanksgiving Brunch will be November 23rd served 11am-7pm.
